I have been dedicated to supporting children, teens and families since 2008. I have had the privilege to journey alongside families in hospital, community mental health, and school settings.
I believe that families are the experts of their own experience, and that children and youth have innate wisdom about their own thoughts and feelings. My goal is to create a supportive space for this wisdom to come forward, fostering healing and resilience that extends beyond the therapy space.
My individual work with children and youth is also complimented by evidence-based parent consultation; to equip caregivers with tools to better understand their child's behaviour, strengthen family bonds, and co-create solutions to problems.
When I'm not supporting clients, I am also a public speaker and group training facilitator. I have travelled across Canada to delivering engaging, practical training for helpers, healers, and parents that are both engaging and fun, while being informed by the latest mental health research and my clinical expertise.
My training opportunities are designed to build confidence, connection, and practical skills in your work and daily life with children, and can be delivered both on-site and virtually.

Outside of sessions, I’m usually adventuring with my son and husband—walking nearby trails and noticing small moments of joy along the way.
My dog Clifford is often right there with us, still working on his big feelings and practising his skills as he works toward becoming a therapy dog one day. For now, he’s strictly off-duty and won’t be assisting in sessions.
